ANGELS WINGS

I'm not one to bale while there's a chink of light
I'm not going to fail in the dark of this night
Nor pounding the wall in some abject despair
Nor looking to stall while there's hope in the air.

I hear them calling me, I don't want to hear
I'm hanging on you see to a life loved so dear
Tips of angels wings brushed by as I lay
Still my spirit sings for just one more day

I'll be up on this stage I'll keep writing my songs
I'll ache but I'll rage where my dream still belongs
Though it's driving me mental this one-sided fight
I'm not going gentle to that dark forever night.

Beautiful words..... it captures your feelings about your fight so honestly. 'Blackie' is still my favourite. :-)
