Romance Portions
A heart stolen, a heart fallen In the pursuit of a suitor’s suit en route to company Thought wondrous in warm words of Ellen Despite purging a loneliness litany Uttering unspoken pleas Defending decisions to cut off oxygen From sarcastic trees Thought to yield a carcinogen Slaying possibilities to revive consultations Meant to pave the way For options to offer salutations To romance stakeholders who hold sway In restoring possibilities to return the love portions My partner and I deserve Without any further delay in activating proportions That serve To rekindle love flames We thought dead In a sea of unsubstantiated claims That misled My partner and I When leaks of stolen data Seemed to support the lie No one felt my partner and I could under no circumstances utter Died a natural death When evidence to our rescue came Dispelling the notion of dearth Of the trust became Obsolete with my partner's powers To offer me pardon In flowers, showers and hours Enabled my partner and I to abandon The tough stance she adopted In the context of misunderstandings that ensued In the wake of misconceptions that opted To conflate relevant issues ad tissues that we pursued To minimize differences Optimizing essential ideas on which we agreed To draw inferences That planted the reconciliation seed Whose feed Nourished the trust That could meet our need To revive the return of my romance portions without raising any further dust.
