Alien
Falling from the sky on this warm evening My eyes were curious, the sight deceiving So I ventured to where I thought it hit That’s when I knew, when I saw it. From out of the ground, she came with force The earth was her determined course Her ship it then had disappeared She gave out a shriek that hurt my ears I froze in place when she had seen me I had no idea what she could really be But as a human she came, naked as birth Flying through the skies, to land here on earth Was her intention to kill or fool mankind? Was it for thrills or games of the mind? Did she come to conquer or to eat Or did she just come for people to meet? I asked in English with hopes she’d know The language I used, even though I’m not the best speaker, nor ever would be Yet I asked her the purpose, was she there for me? She replied that she lived on the end of the hill When she saw the light in the sky, got a thrill But it flew too close and landed nearby Tearing of f her clothes in the blink of an eye I asked if she’s serious or was she from space For we have intelligence, this human race We can not be fooled by deceptive games So I asked her for her birth given name She said she was Jane, Jane Aubrey from Clark She said she followed the light there in the dark It struck the ground with an unbearable force Knocking her over as a matter of course I guess my mind just wanted to believe In a world where women give men every need But alas I fear not, for she’s just another girl One who will shun me, who is from this world
