Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I am the old man of the moon, an observer of earth and its earthlings, there are no living creatures on my planet, it is a wasteland void of any life, that is why I watch what is going on below, what I see are humans living in box-like structures in which large doors open and close automatically and where they leave their homes in what they call cars which they drive along with others to create what they call traffic jams as they stand still, a daily routine of their existence. In other parts of earth wars continue as bombs create devastation which maim and kill all involved including the destruction of infrastructures in which the humans no longer have homes and are forced to live in shelters called tents which have been considered temporary for many years as they wait to return to a city destroyed by warring enemies. Earth is a planet of contrasts where rich forests grow and deserts of sand exist as well as oceans filled with creatures called fish except for whales the largest mammals which become deathly ill as they beach themselves because of pollution from garbage-infested waters created by the apathetic earthlings who believe the planet will exist perpetually, little do they know that my planet the moon once thrived as earth until it died a slow death from the deep scars of wars and pollution.
