Her Words
HER WORDS ~~~~~~~~ where I ere walk this land, I hear her sweet words, "I love you". six thousands miles away, I hear her words, "I love you". in jungle glades, a scented breeze, her words, "I love you". a flower, I bend to inhale, swayed by it beauty, its perfume personified love, I heard its words, "she loves you". duty done, homeward bound, in my mind her words, "I love you". bureaucratic procedures, then, she's there, a smile, her first words, her greeting, your home, "I love you". that night, tired I did not stir, come dawn, I whispered in her ear, my love I care, "I love you". she turned, we looked into each others eyes, a butterfly kiss, words, her words and mine, "I love you". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1/25/18 Entered in 'STANDARD CONTEST 65,ANY FORM OR NONE,ANY THEME,UPTO A MAX OF 20 LINES' sponsored by Brian Strand
