Poison In the Passion
Nightshade seduction arouse androidal desires to taste the dangerous pleasure pill that only humans are allowed to feel Love poisons the non-emotional circuitry; flip the kill switch ... flood the doppelganger dead wife body with corrupting, electrical ecstasy Suicidal sirens are vibrational moaning ... trailing off in the aural distance Is it sultry bedchamber music that you hear, or the sound of your laboratory heart stopping Your mind has been poisoned by temptation From the neck up, you’re paralyzed, from the belly down, your alternate mind is so neural sensitive alive Slow-acting, an arrested fatal development Fast merging, metabolically bound by the passion As long as the night flames climb, kryptonite won’t bring down Superwoman But as sure as the sun will rise, the silicon fire of exotic desire will smouldering die And the lowering temperature heat from a sleep mode double body embrace, will let the nano-poison be released Flowing free into a cloned heart that would never see the morning There was poison in the passion in the year 2128 ... Inter-organic relations are taboo, a human could die for tasting the strange passion fruit too Cloned and true-womb born don’t integrate, it is a gen-tech crime to even date In the year 2128, the poison in the passion administered a dual termination fate This poem was inspired by the collaboration work of Ivory Jones and James Swartz, from their beautiful poem, "Template to Save the Soul." I thank this talented poetess and poet from the inky depths of my poor muse soul. — Romantic Warrior
