Crazy Cat Lady
He gave her an inch and she took a mile He'd do or say just about anything to see her smile With a huge heart of gold, she was the furthest thing from vile She took the felines in one by one, it grew out of control after a while Construed as the "crazy cat lady" of the neighborhood, overwhelmed was her husband, Lial He desperately tried to talk some sense into her, but she stayed in denial Concerned family and friends picked up their phones, it was their number they did dial No one could get through to her and soon neighbors contacted authorities with complaints they did file Told they were a health hazard and she had to get rid of them, her heart was broken furthest from beguile She collected the possessions she had accumulated for them and her husband helped her put them into a pile Broken hearted for his wife, he'd do anything to restore her beautiful smile He pulled a fast one through the chaos and kept one kitten from a litter, his wife named, Kyle Misunderstood, she wasn't a "crazy cat lady" at all, there was no need to put her on trial She just wanted to help them so she took a job volunteering at a nearby shelter where she could and still see them, but vowed never again to allow her big heart to hamper her own lifestyle
