I Thought Wrong
I thought that I was strong enough To break down your highest walls I thought I had it all with you in mind, But it was taken away from me - My spirit falls...ahhhhh.... Hear my calls...ahhhhh.... I've lost it all (lost it with a frown) I let myself down (in a freefall...) I thought you'd understand my point of view I thought you knew where I stand - who knew I thought wrong I thought wrong I thought wrong I thought you were with me all along I thought wrong I thought wrong I thought wrong I thought you and I belong Together...forever... But, I was wrong all along I thought I had you near my lonely side Now, come along with ne on ny bumpy, spiralling ride I thought I had my way with you in heart, But it was snatched away from me from the start - My spirit falls...ahhhhh.... But, I was wrong all along I thought that you believed in me - Now, I'm falling apart (by the seams) I can't fly a thousand miles with broken wings and jaded dreams I thought I had it all with you in my heart (of eloquent sun-beams) My spirit falls...ahhhhh.... But, I was wrong all along I'm thinking to myself, You're not being yourself I was right...i thought right to my misfortune We are polar opposites - you're the miserable moon and I'm the shimmering sun My spirit falls...ahhhhh.... But, I was wrong all along My spirit falls...ahhhhh.... Hear my calls...ahhhhh.... I've lost it all (lost it with a frown) I let myself down (in a freefall...) I thought you'd understand my point of view I thought you knew where I stand - who knew I thought wrong I thought wrong I thought wrong I thought you were with me all along My spirit falls...ahhhhh.... Hear my calls...ahhhhh.... I've lost it all (lost it with a frown) I let myself down (in a freefall...) I thought you'd understand my point of view I thought you knew where I stand - who knew Well, heaven knows I thought wrong
