A Thousand Cuts
A thousand cuts, a million broken heart pieces The truth comes to light, a few dark secrets A lost boy, with no father to teach him how to be a man I'm far from perfect, I just wish you'd understand 5 years free from self-harm, I fear relapsing more than anything else I fight depression daily, but no one will bring help I cry alone but smile for the world when I'm out I can only hide my emotions until my pen comes out Watching the rain fall from the sky As the pain pours from my eyes It shows itself in tear form Because i Just lost the girl I Cared for I've got old wounds that are still bleeding and that gave me a new sting Because i have depression it changed the way she viewed things She said she wouldn't deal with my bipolar mood swings To move on, I'm going to need to have a few flings That was a simple rhyme pattern, now I might share my nightmares as I walk in my Nike airs, cause I'm quite scared How many rhymes did i write here? My dreams are that bad, I wouldn't want my worst enemy to spend a night there Even Brock Lesnar would struggle to survive here A thousand cuts, a million broken heart pieces The truth comes to light, a few dark secrets A lost boy, with no father to teach him how to be a man I'm far from perfect, I just wish you'd understand
