Hallelujah Gusts
Here I stand with outstretched hand Waiting for your next command Drawing a line in the sand " Hallelujah" my King is Grand Considered being in a band Where I could praise him from the stand My father's gift was in voice My offering is in lyric choice " Hallelujah" your names rejoiced On those days when my eyes are moist You recognize before its voiced Asking you, send your healing cloak People need your protective yoke "Hallelujah" My lyric spoke Where I am perched looks like the beast Is enjoying a ravenous feast Sometimes clad in Stephen Paddock attire Stealing dreams from the young and inspired Money trails of the unscrupulous Breadcrumbs leading to nothing but mistrust Lean on the one who breathed life into dust I am breathing "Hallelujah" Gusts When this world brings you to overwhelm Remember whose seated at the helm If your feeling a heavy despair He fights for you in a higher realm Call on him, for he is waiting there I'm inhaling "Hallelujah" repair Turn off the news, put on hiking shoes Hard to decipher who's who from the clues Enough to give anyone the blues Give the Lord his morning and evening due Hallelujah Savior is redemptive glue He knows your not perfect and still loves you That was the mission for his son to do "Hallelujah" Sweet Salvation is true
