When we're afraid to live right now and here, Illusions feel much safer, but they steal The magic of this time, this day, this year, As we indulge in something quite unreal. Imaginary castles in the sky Are beckoning, we view them with delight, We humbly wait until we learn to fly, But they just fall before we reach this height.
