I Was Home Again
I Was Home Again By Franklin Price 10/15/2017 I was home again, been many years Almost a couple score From Vietnam in '69 Now thought a useless war. We the people still divided Can't decide our country's call Many are the conflicts here Will the U.S. rise or fall? Seems to me, not much has changed Though many years have passed Money buys what happens The partys stupid and outclassed Other wars have come and gone None of them the people's voice The richest made them happen They bought the govermental choice The Constitution's much ignored By the Congress and the POTUS Can't trust a thing that either says I'm hereby, putting them on notice Neither party's for the people Have agendas for themselves Take all the things the people need And put them up on shelves Each must get the credit It's something they won't try to share Change your ways and reach across The aisle, I double dare You see I've changed my rhetoric Made it much more juvenile Maybe now you'll understand it Haven't been adults for quite awhile
