Oh, and by the way you do look familiar” I replied, “The existence of an all knowing all powerful being is not a concern of mine” they said, “I’m sorry to hear that, but I will pray for you; you see God needs us to have faith in him” I said, “God does not want you to have faith in him, God wants you to have faith in me” they looked at me bewildered and before they could speak again I left them with these final words, “It’s a sure bet religion is what you get when mortals speak on behalf of immortals” they said, “I believe in God and I’m going to pray for you” and with that, they disappeared into the walls
