Look To the Heavens
walking on this road alone, no one in site, no one to show. deep in my thoughts of guilt and shame, no one around to hear me cry out in pain. oh, then i look to the heavens, oh i look to the heavens and cry out your name. its filled with anger and selfless, filled with feelings that no one gets. its children hungers with no one to blame. its the sounds of sadness with cries of pain. oh, then i look to the heavens, oh i look to the heavens and i cried out your name. lost and lonely, with no where to turn. looking left and then right, with no one in site. its my heart aching with pride and hatefulness, never forgiving. oh, then i look to the heavens, oh i look to the heavens and i cried out your name. the time has come, and the days are gone. its time to turn from our wicked ways before our savoir saves the day. then we look to the heavens, oh we look to the heavens, and we cried out your name.
