Scaling New Peaks
I remember the day when I had no plan Face cupped in my hand looking down Then I heard a voice saying just keeping learning And don’t get discouraged From that moment I never looked back Just took up every job that I could learn Wow where I have reached today In my mind reaching out to new horizons And the scaling is not yet over Every time Gods puts before me a new challenge Though I am all alone in the world Every day is a new thrill of opening up to life’s possibilities There has been no looking back since the day of my divorce. What has life taught me? The world can be a terrible place to live in But keep the faith and choose the middle path Means neither the extremes of joy or sorrow , poverty or richness. That way we can protect ourselves from the pendulum swing and keep our life in balance. Because there are always two sides to the coin, one positive and the other negative. We cannot negate either experience, have to take both. But always trusting in God to change the tide when needed.
