Jeanie: I Love Jee
Proud woman with the turquoise eyes; half Iroquois, half white Beautiful woman with the crescent moon smile, that Milky Way glows in the night Jeanie ... I fell in love with Jee, from the moment I boarded the wrong flight Got on an Ottawa bound plane one snowy December late But it had to be the right plane, for it was fate Her seat was next to mine, our virgin conversation was so Pocahontas out of time She opened up her heart to me with the oral still water storytelling of her Iroquois name Said the Haudenosaunee translation meant “lost mocassin” My white buffalo clan Cinderella princess, whose feet I caressed on that maiden voyage So je ne sais quoi was her French-Canadian speech, it aroused the Judeo-Africano passion in me Jeanie ... I love Jee Jeanie ... I’m so in love with Jee Revealed to me her childhood nickname as we were disembarking from the plane, Jee was the arrow that pierced my curious mane Made this lion of a man, docile and tame From that moment on I had to know more; and the more of her that I learned, the more the fire in my heart for her burned Proud woman with the alabaster skin, now Euro-Iroquois Judeo-African Jeanie ... I love Jee She is now the closest branch of my family tree My Jeanie ... I love Jee She is my favorite kin kissing genealogy My Jeanie ... I love Jee
