Worth Saving
The siren closes her eyes, and the fires of despair go out. As the evil inside her dies, a breath of fresh air escapes her mouth. The dark side of our mind, shines brighter than the sun. Illuminating all of her spoken lies, allowing the first feathers to come. Sprouting from shoulders of scarred flesh, erasing with it memories of pain. A drunken embodiment of the blessed, overpowering the cracks in her brain. Until she screams my name, for helping her fix herself. Her love has done the same for me, improving each other with excellency, in this land of wealth. We are both better than most, since birth, this I’ve known. It did take a lot of convincing, from one of a purple soul, to the other born of black and gold. So until the end I will take the wounds, that were meant for her. We will always hope, for something at least this pure. The most beautiful thing we’ve ever seen, the greatest of things in this entire world.
