Race For Dreams
“My dreams are questioned My very existence thought about I also couldn’t stand in past Crawling in present Cant even think of future” “why not, the world is changing? Every bird has learned Its direction of flight Still you think that you cant Build a simple castle of your dreams” “35 years, is my age Even if i start today I cant ever run in the race I imagined to hold the Tirangaa And run on the rampant track Olympic circles become my bangles And you talk about success” the words of my daughter Stuck in my head It became a cause of pain Breaking through my believes I picked the skipping rope The joy of youth returns 20 push ups a day The race with the train I lost each day But build another me I stood up Finally on the track I’ll put forward my heart To win this race Its my only way, last chance To the destination of my life I ran, ran on the line of my life Every step, i came closer to the line So close i was But my eyes shut I collapsed, to never rising again But that time i felt I died the death of a free bird Not a lion roaring behind the bars
