Untitled
I'm twenty-five, but yet still missing something inside. Could it have been the day that you left, you stole something from me when you chose the meth. I'm sure you had your reasons, the decision was probably tough. Though in the end, your son and daughter was simply not enough. You left and did your thing, You found ways to numb your pain. But what about my pain? It's been 12 years and I still feel the same. I'm not mad, no not anymore. I just wish we could go back to how it was before. You were my everything, I followed you wherever you went. God knows that I treasure all those times that we spent. You said that we were old enough and didn't need you. Well that was a lie, Dad didn't know what to do. Sure he took care of me, stepped up and did his part, but there was something missing, nothing holding me from falling apart. I still needed you, and still do to this day. Will you ever change your life? All I can do is pray. Just know that I love you, even if you don't hear me say so. Just please get back to the mother that I used to know. Life is too short to live this way, Just come back, I'll be here waiting for the day.
