I'm different, I've known from a young age. I tried to follow along, but was stuck on a different page. Going through school is never easy, but especially hard worrying about the people who may tease me. If they knew they would tease me for sure. So I'll keep quiet and just pray for a cure. As I grew older, I began to understand. Nothing is wrong with me, I just am who I am. There is no cure for being gay, no matter how bad you wish it would go away. And people actually think I chose to be this way? Why would I choose this life? It would be easier to have the kids, the home and a wife, but would it be worth the sacrifice? If I chose that, I would be living a lie. And I wouldn't do that, so I'm not even going to try. I've learned to accept myself now and it feels great. Someday maybe you'll learn how, but until then, all I can do is wait.
