The Askance Chapter 3 Part 6b
“The wake of one’s desire is the wake in one’s dream Nothing belongs an ever within The Ancient to seem Of dreams misplace, of thoughts misled and of mind misread Where sorrows are only ever to grow and death to always be fed I acknowledge one’s return from a much awaited time Are you prepared to embark once more, the quest whence abandon years behind? The amulet you were engiven, is only to belong to the chosen one It be fallen into the wrong hands, will it be erupted with heat of the flaming Sun It is indeed a mighty gift from the Goddess of Word For it beholds a meaning unattainable, a power to be unheard Yet it bonds us in a way, that which never is to understand Perhaps one day, the crosses beyond our dreaded lives will comprehend? Seek the quiet tranquility from the emblem within your dreams I will come to aid in regardless beyond unquestionable means However, I am to warn of its unknowledgeable power it beholds An absurd warning from me, as once a mortal be told” {It was a night of quiet desperation from a battle before With a bleeding wound by the side, he lays helplessly raw Unable to will even the strength to stand his ground He calls for Alkaiya, only to hear silence is all that abound Of each battle won, death for its toll only becomes easier to claim Burdens of life is only evermore to remain never the same Deprive of mortality, he loses himself to open death’s door No more deaths, no more burdens and no more of task uncalled for And he drifted into the darkest… into the very core of dreams Fearing no more for a life, that which never once is to seem Relief embrace him, tranquility has found a place within his heart It felt to be the longest before brightness has to tear the darkness apart! There was light immediately from everywhere and from nowhere A figure protruding from the center, beautiful and illusionary fair She was bare of clothing with her hair glistening against the light A scent was caught as well to suggest a growing lumic into the night He knew who she was, though never once has he ever seen her She was the one, the Goddess of Word, his ultimate creator} “I am all who sees as despair, I am hatred itself I’m neither of comfort nor wisdom to seek, war is my only wealth You are no more to me but a fragile soul to have been chosen That, beyond Heaven’s calling is never the quest for reasons Should you long have realize, you are only a mortal Where feelings, emotions and self-pity are at your disposal
