Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required This thing, it sits inside my head, crazy it drives me. It runs and runs, yet I can get away. Sometimes it spins and leaves me dizzy. This thing you'll never see or touch, yet it always leaves a mark. You can't take it away, and I can't seem to put it down. There are times where it just takes over, and it consumes me from the inside out. It silences my voice, and claws its way through me. It's someone I've always known, and they've grown to be a part of me for oh so long. I no longer know which one of us is the parasite that sucks the other dry. Sometimes I try to watch it from a far, But I'm 'fraid to say the leash just isn't all that long. There are times where I can drag it along, but these muscles can only pull for so long, before its claws can reach my skin once again.
