My Stardust At Midnight
She was my angel, my stardust at midnight, My guardian spirit soothing heaven with grace- for the moon gazes upon her glorious sight, as the mosaic azure clouds encompass and embrace. My heart stopped beating the day she died, my soul, like a maze, lost in the universe- her garden of lilies just laid there and cried, as I gather my emotions and write a verse. No other woman could love me like her, no other soul-shining wonder could fulfill- and since her death my eyesight a blur, as the blood through my veins stand still. Forgiveness with atonement seems so far, yet her beauty so intense, I shall forgive- for it was only her pain that left a crimson scar, and I am finding it hard to let go and live. In the dead of the night I shall recall her voice, in the light of day, I shall remember her smile- deep down I feel she always had a choice, but leaving with sorrow... -was just her style.
