The Glory of Her Story
A journal in her hand with no one to understand, a reason to give up yet a reason to live- A story to tell while living in her mind’s hell, she picks up her quill and finds a way to give. Days they pass and memories do last, but no one can see her top priority- Pages upon pages with ages of anecdotes, her parchment saves her as she tells her story. Every day ~ a new way… Every time ~ a new rhyme… Every belief ~ a relief... As she begins a new chapter and turns a new leaf. Cradling her gifts, she writes about regret, standing on the cliff, her saga she won’t forget- Living on muse she lives to tell a tale, swimming by the shore she sets off to sail. Every cloud ~ a shroud… Every romance ~ given a chance… Every history ~ written with mystery… Every story is her daily glory. Every morning she awakes with a new plot- living to tell her version of what is fiction ...and what is not. Quote Response Contest December 12, 2016
