The Bedouin
After an arduous days journey across the hot desert sands. The Bedouin relieved the camel of its cargo with rough, calloused hands. With routine learned from his ancestors camp was prepared for the night. Camel tendered to, water and food consumed into the fading light. As the Bedouin lay under covers in the comfort of his tent. a small err-hem came from the camel and his ear was curiously bent. "Speak to me Camel, why do you wake me from much needed sleep?" "Master it's cold out here am I able to put my nose in just a peep?" What harm could be done he reasoned, after all its just the camels nose. Then after settling down a while, he hears, "I don't suppose?" "It's just a little further master, only my head and neck?" The Bedouin contemplates a while then thinks, Ah what the heck! As sleep prevails once again the interrupting camel makes a further plea. "Some more of me is cold master, it's just the front of my knees." The worn down Bedouin relents once more, being the camel was so bold. By morning the camel was all the way in, the poor Bedouin out in the cold. A hard lesson learned by the Bedouin. No camels in the tent. Some values should be held onto, not compromised or relent. Don't be left out in the cold or kicked out of your bed. No second chance for the Bedouin, because he was stone cold dead.
