Poisoned Love
You're on my mind more than I'd like to admit. Missing you like a long distance lover. When you come around, all I can think of is the pleasure of your presence. Always taking me on a high to Wonderland. Blacks and grays fade in and out of each other as I come down. I want to stay in the skies with you forever. We meet in the darkness of most nights. You bring me home from houses that I did not belong in. You always seem to be there. In situations where I am vunerable and unsafe. Thank you for saving me. We had a magnificent thing going for us. You were saving me and I was making you happy. However, our relationship was not all that I thought it to be. Together, the only things on my mind were silver objects and red liquids. I loved the way red paint looked against a silver canvas. How red contrasted perfectly with peach. All you ever ask is for me to listen. Though I am stubborn, I love listening to you. Your voice is smoother than jazz. In a crowded room, the sound of the words that form on your tongue keep me calm. You are always there to whisper sweet nothings into my ear. Little did I know that you were the only thing that made me vunerable and unsafe. My heart bled for you. Little did I know that those sweet nothings you whispered into my ear, were death threats. I loved you with my soul. But before I could realize that you were the poison that I had been drinking, it was too late.
