Prince of the Night
-PRINCE OF THE NIGHT- As from a dreamlike state, I came into being. Come forth- a voice said. And in my Alpha brain my existence was born , and wondered about my recognition. Who am I ? Cheppetto? I asked. "No, I am your Creator" said He with glee. I saw that I was perfect. I was second as first I came to recognise HE. I have placed you inside that shell with your soul and your spirit to dwell . From the three of you , inside you will remain but outside you will age until it is time for you to go. Lying ahead I will expire, to feed the Earth from which I took and take flight, discarding this constricting cocoon Then from this writhing pupae, inside it is I , outside emerge the butterfly. Silken wings unhinged in flight, iridescent in ridiculous color, not to dream as before but awake from that slumber, I hail from a river, a silver and watery mirror-Prince of the night.
