Shackles of My Rage
Black and cold, the breeze it blows I will drag you down Oh sigh and cry, the days pass by Wearing nothing but a frown And. Oh how slow you fall again Bending to their will Yet oh how sad a wolf among men Shall die to get her fill Laughter rings loud like bells Muffled by their sobs Drinking up the anger how She is defeated by her job QUIET ... please be quiet.. The voices how they sing Up on the stage to gain their praise Listen to the ring The ring of the quiet torture Going on inside her mind Maybe something is really wrong Something she tires to hide But the darkness comes once again To offer her the deal "I'll take away the pain, but you will no longer feel." And as always, solely she nods Lifting up her wrists On go the shackles of her rage To control her faithless fits "As long as I don't feel," She sobs "I don't need the pain." "As long as I can keep who I am." But who is you, in a name?
