The Road Chosen
THE ROAD CHOSEN Like thousands of people in (late) life, I am there, alone and looking at my Future options. I only have two options, But I will choose only one, while Feeling sorry I can’t choose both. For both will totally change my way of life. One outcome should seem easier for me, For most people choose that easy road. That road for me it’s not attractive, it’s not appealing, But others are pulling me in that direction, While knowing that both options, Will sooner or later lead to the same results. Once the road was chosen, It was obvious that both will lead to A drastic and terminal life change, And that I had led my path To a new way of being, while knowing that the other Option would never be available to me. In the future I (might) be reflecting with emotions, That I was to choose between two options, And that I took the one that was least appealing, To most. And that option changed my life I Thank Frost, wherever you are, for the inspiration And beg forgiveness for the audacity. Luis M. Lambert
