Lust Or Love
Falling for someone I wish I'd stayed away from, That forbidden love that drives me closer to being free. To cut the rope that holds me back, And run to the figure in the shinning light. Watching as the ropes and thorns, Grab at me as I run for freedom, As I get there I fall to my knees, Clenching at the earth below me, Looking up I see the love I had, Was just lust for someone I will never have. Maybe it was all in my head, When he hands slid down my body, Telling my how beautiful I was. As when he held me night, I felt powerful, Blood rushing through my veins as he touched me. But as I walked away, Thinking the feelings would escape me, I found myself falling, hard. His soft words, his gentle touch. The way he laid beside me at night, When he spoke my name, as he lifted me up. The way it felt when our body's touched. I want him, He doesn't want me... I can't tell, is it, Lust... or Love?
