Will the Lady Ever Move On
Will the lady ever move on? This lady I don't even know, whose anguish tugs at the strings of my soul. I see her now and again. She smiles at times yes, but at the same time I can feel her deep distress. I wonder, am I alone? I wonder if she's alone. Mentally, emotionally, I am there with her to feel her pain. If I could I would absorb it all from her in some way to let it all drain. Does she really think of him everyday? I'm not a mother, yet I feel like I understand all too well. I mean, how could she not though with his picture stapled to her heart. I tend to think that if you tear it from her will her whole body fall apart. Does she keep it as a painful reminder or as a symbol of love & comfort? Peace please be given unto her and her son, her baby. Her baby who is a part of her, a little piece of him with a smile to show how things once were. How strong is her faith in the afterlife? Oh how much she reminds me of the Holy Mother. Her own heart a sword shall pierce, yet she ventures on strong and fierce. Does she believe as strongly as I that they'll be reunited in the skies above? I hope she does. I hope she knows. I hope she knows she's not alone. So many are with her now and always. "Can the human heart refrain, from partaking in her pain, in that Mother's pain untold?" A vastly glowing star that stood out to me amongst the sea of the dimly lit universe I call home. I want to help. That's all I want. Help you all that stand before me, weeping in your graves so cold and steep. Some stand out amongst the rest. I feel your pain mingled throughout my own, turning mine anew, yet I will continue to move along, together, always with you.
