The Fairies Are Baking
The Fairies are baking no need to go outside, it's too windy to play they don't run and hide. They have their mixing bowls out ingredients for making cakes, they're having a good time thinking of different things they can make. They get powdered sugar on the floor no need to get themselves upset, one Fairy cleans it all up with the garbage can, the mess had met. One sticks his finger in the cake batter holds a smile upon his face, stinks his finger back in for seconds others are filled with disgrace. They dump the batter out rush around to make some more, the finger licker is quite upset he cries and rolls around on the floor. First cake goes into the oven there's a second being made, they decide to make cookies too their happiness never fades. Cakes and cookies are being made special they want to bake them for me, I sit and take a coffee break listening to music with glee. I hear a knock on my door Fairies are standing outside, I open the door happily from me, there's no need to hide. A Fairy kisses me on the cheek and said, "These are for you, thank you for helping us out when the cold wind overhead blew." I greeted the Fairies with a smile and welcomed them into my home, I enjoy having them around forever their happiness here shall roam. Copyright Cynthia Jones Mar.14/2016 I started this yesterday and got busy, so I couldn't finish it. I love having the Fairies around. They always seem to surprise me.
