My arms and shoulders hurt to touch, please don’t hug me. If for some reason if I hit myself the pain is so bad, tears will come to my eyes and it will make me go to my knees. No one knows the pain or how I feel, even if you have lupus. No two people are the same. Having lupus for over fifteen years taking medication it still doesn’t stop me from getting sick. My friends and family have seen me at my worse. I can’t enjoy the beach the sun makes it worse; the heat will make me sick. If I get too hot in stores I have to leave. No matter what I do this disease changes everything in my life. You may feel good when you wake up, and as the day goes on you are tired and weak. Making plans for any occasion is hard. Living with Lupus is very hard.
