The Sea Shore
Hidden Heart Her footfalls once made prints upon this sandy shore, unaware she was being preserved forever by my lens. A small child, I shot in black and white, dancing with wet sand between her little toes. Infectious laughter, gleeful giggles borne from innocence at small seashells she found near the empty shore; little jewels she placed into a plastic cup. Morning sun glistened on her windblown chestnut hair, as I watched her make a large heart with her little footprints upon wet sand. When she stooped over to pick up a pearly shell inside, a gentle wave behind her splashed foamy white upon the shore. I captured her magical essence in a photograph that day with my canon's telephoto lens from far away. Connie Marcum Wong 2-4-16 For The Sea Shore Contest Sponsor Craig Cornish Awarded 3rd place *My oldest daughter Jennifer Pealatere took this photo of my youngest daughter Michelle who was four at the time. She is 30 now. Taken at Maile Beach Oahu. This was an award winning photo for her.
