A small child, I shot in black and white, dancing with wet sand between her little toes. Infectious laughter, gleeful giggles borne from innocence at small seashells she found near the empty shore; little jewels she placed into a plastic cup. Morning sun glistened on her windblown chestnut hair, as I watched her make a large heart with her little footprints upon wet sand. When she stooped over to pick up a pearly shell inside, a gentle wave behind her splashed foamy white upon the shore. I captured her magical essence in a photograph that day with my canon's telephoto lens from far away.
