Where Are the Humans
Human beings are strange... Their abilities of destruction know no range, You didnt put anything here... but you misuse and abuse everything you find everywhere. Such great ability to create and yet we work so hard to decimate. Because of our lack of care....all living things exist in fear. What else can Man do to us now? they think... And in God's eyes we continue to shrink. No respect for branches or bone, No understanding of the concept of "Home", You sleep in a gated community, After slashing and burning forestry, Tossing babies into flood drains, Because on your carpet they left stains, You take and take with an air of entitlement, But you have done nothing to deserve it, What??? Is your conscience dead? And your heart made of lead? The earth might someday lift its face, When these humanoids start behaving like the human race. Until then I will do my part and hold my own. And hope that in this fight...I'm not alone.
