I Just Wanted To Belong
I came to your doors, broken, and alone, I just wanted to be welcomed in. You keep on judging me, and forcing me away. I can not do that not even for you, you shouldn't try to force me to. The danger from him is real, even if you hold him dear. We just wanted to worship, share our Lord, you demanded he be there. Even when he has abused me, so you showed me that i meant nothing to you. In our church I am not allowed to be safe, for you only see his lying face. High as a kite laughing at you, knowing he accomplished what he set out to do. Banished and unwelcomed us, in our church family. He is walking away laughing, Knowing you allowed him to win. Laughing because he tricked you once again. Devil in disguise has entered in, with your welcome, he brings his sin.
