Just One More Day
Just One More Day If I could see you just one more day, I'd plead for you to tell me all you have to say. Every insight deep in your soul, I'd have you write down and I'd keep it in a bowl. It would be like a moment of the past, though this moment would forever last. We would do all that we never got around to pursuing, you and me would waltz the museum of the world and do all the viewing. We would sit down at a cafe in Paris, France, and talk about all we never got the chance. We would round the bend of the Seine river and stand, blue water reflected in our eyes as we held each other hand in hand. To Africa we'd go to watch the giraffes and zebras prance, and then to the Rocky Mountains where we above the clouds could glance. And at the end of the day as the skies were enveloped in stars, you'd give me all your love so I could place it in glass jars. -December 12th, 2015-
