Strangers
A typical night without expectation A man meets a girl and feels a sensation From strangers to lovers in just one night Two hearts came together that felt so right It started as a one-night stand But grew to love between this woman and man Would her love sustain, he doubted with reason Because in his life he had seen many more seasons She told him his age would never be a factor She had found the love she had sought after For years each other, they loved and cared And a lifetime together they hoped to share As time went on their love was strong But circumstance would take him away And while apart he lost her heart Youth had finally found its way Another man, younger than, and with more to give Took away the love he was so sure of And the life he thought he would live With pleas of love and memories He tried in vain to change her But like it began, it now would end Overnight, he became a stranger
