The Story Teller
The best of them, give their best of all. They answer a call to wield their written vision, like swords before the march and flirt with paths of tortured lines Against insurmountable odds they try to breach the code of those with the captured grail of independence and knowledge Hand in hand and cheek by jowl, battling with life's lexicon, they rage to add to the very fabric of its velvet richness But, self doubt looms too large to bear the false apparel of words, when egos deflate like weather balloons soaring too high Partisan becomes the story teller, too unsure to seek his praises from abroad, reserving trust only in the judgement of his own voice But, to set in print such garish cloth, ill-conceived with few true stitches to bind it together; is proof that nothing is brought more proudful than knowledge is before its fall
