Every Jack Needs His Jill
Every Jack needs his Jill When I close my eyes I see you Those pretty brown eyes I can see right through Your beautiful soul Is where I live To you is where my love is to give. I said no to sex a time or two Because I knew all I wanted was really you. But as you leave I think to myself What could have been and what I left on the shelf. I will always care for your pretty soul. I will remember you for a lifetime I'm your Jack and you're my Jill To Brooklyn is to where Jill leaves But Jack cares for Jill more than she sees. He wonders if she'll ever comeback. But for Jill there is no time to hold back. Jill was an angle and Jack loved her soo. But Jack had no emotions until it was time for Jill to go. Every night Jack would go to the Brooklyn Bridge. In hopes that Jill would show up beyond the ridge. One night as Jack sat on the rocks The east river was flowing as fast as a fox. Jack reminisced on his times back with Jill And then Jack realized Jill on top of the hill. As Jack looked in awe of the sight Of Jills pretty face Jack filled with delight. She came down and said sorry Jack but your not for me I've lost all my feelings, I've met a guy, Pete. Jack was disappointed that his love of his life. Could just pick up and move on like all was alright. The wind and the rain poured from the dark Brooklyn sky As Jack began to cry. He cared for her and loved her, but she didn't feel the same. But she played along and eventually she won the game. The light brightens my day when I'm feeling alone. Brooklyn at night is a piece of And will always have a special place Right next to Jill the girl who stole the key to my heart. Christopher Lutzen 11/09/15
