I Know He'Ll Always Be There
Now that I know I'm loved, Far beyond all understanding, I need no longer fear, For my God is not demanding. Since I heard the voice of God, Say to me, "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world", I know He is always near. So when I read His Holy Word, Or seek Him in my prayer, Just like the sun in the sky above, I know He'll always be there. For just as the sun can be hidden, By the clouds that are drifting by, So it is with my Savior, He doesn't always seem nigh, And just as, when the sky is darkened, And the storm seems to have no end, So my vision can be clouded, Of my best and dearest Friend. So I must take Him at His Word, And ponder His promises, For just as the sun is always there, I can count on His faithfulness. So when I read His Holy Word, Or seek Him in my prayer, Just like the sun in the sky above, I know He'll always be there.
