Why
Why, why would you lie to me? Why, why would you pretend to care for me? Why, why would you look at me and say "you are so smart", Why, why would you then laugh at me and depart? Why did I take the poisonous bait? Why did I shed those foolish tears? Maybe because I've been a foolish woman all of my wasted years, Inside I was falling to pieces, but your kind words, smile made me feel special, Should have known it was just an act of cruelty and lies all along, After all, that's my life in general, I don't belong on this earth after all. Why, why would reach out to embrace me in a hug? I was trusting in you, And now I get to walk away from my future with tears in my eyes and heart, I looked to you to encourage me, to teach me, but instead was slapped and hurt, I guess I know now to not trust anyone anymore, don't worry anymore, for this time I am going to forever depart...
