See If You Can Guess
See if You Can Guess Dream did appear in my inner being About many are now very confounded With poet writing poem were dis-agreeing By confusing world he has been surrounded. Into his life walked a wonderful thing Was you who my sweetheart was being Into my life happiness started bringing No matter what issue we were agreeing. But then on one sad day I did realize You actually never were ever there All along I pretended and did phantasize And now live a life all full of despair. If dreams can come true which one was it? Probably the one that went drifting by And it was I who would have to admit My hair had dandruff and was too dry. See if you can guess whose poem this one is about and which one it is? My wife always likes my humorous ones the best. Was gone on vacation to British Isles for two weeks and am trying to catch up on my poetry writing. I an now over 1,250. Wow.
