His Name Is Rick
Going through the singles one day and I saw an ad I saw one that was kind and understanding and felt right, because I was sad So I wrote not knowing who was on the other side of the screen Whether they were really telling the truth or would they really be mean? But even sending simple email back and forth I could read between lines how much this man is worth So kind and gentle and just healthy mentally it seemed but I was watching and listening for a slip up, but I beamed just to think a man could talk like this so great let's meet I said, I didn't want it to be too late I saw him and I hugged him right away he felt so good, like home, I got away afraid of the good feelings not used to that went inside and we talked and laughed as usual had a blast it felt right I thought, still scared of my feelings told him goodnight, drove home just reeling slow down, take your time, think about it clearly no hurry, don't worry, I know he is merely a man, not a miracle just calm down you barely know him, so your attracted, it's alright, you have to wait to see if he is, get some feedback, maybe he didn't like you and it won't be what you're thinking, you never know so if it isn't so and he doesn't want it to go anywhere then you can't care, so just wait it was just a date that's all it was girl now you're not for sure about anything at all put down the wrecking ball STOP!!! He sends me a text and says we'll talk tomorrow now see what you did with the drama and the sorrow? we're talking today everything's ok I think he's hot Rick hit's the spot where my feelings are that sparkly star I've saved forever and I said never we'll see Rick and me
