Your Heart In a Bottle
As I walked along the sea shore one morning I stumbled up on old antique bottle. I pulled the cork only to find a message of desperation. The message read, "Looking for my long lost love that I had twenty moons ago. Please respond if you are her!" I picked up the bottle and placed it to my nose and smelled the essence of the one who wrote the note. "Could it be him?" I thought to myself. I had looked for him for all these years and finally gave up the prospects of finding him here. Then out of the ocean blue sky a trace of him appeared. He was the one that my heart longed for an entire lifetime before. I wrote a response letter and then sealed the bottle once more. I sent it off to sail from the gentle ocean shore. I closed my eyes and said a little prayer, "Lord, I have had a lifetime of pain and I just want you to deliver my heart again. Deliver it from the one who has come to steal my joy!" Two hours later I woke up from my dream and hoped that it would come true. So now I am walking along this ocean side hoping that you will find my response to you. Gwendolen Rix 5-7-15
