At the Door
It was a pretty spectacular sight as the crowds became more dense And each day turns to night all standing there without recompense Tightly hinging just above the horizon as if to give us one last kiss And so it will be with His own Love that so many are about to miss Seems everybody's looking skyward but missing what's really meant Neither have any of them heard being blind to a Savior Who was sent All of this right there to claim every promise that you couldn't imagine For it is only His Name that will allow you to be forgiven for your sin None of us are darn near perfect but it's where you have been before But some just choose to neglect never responding to Jesus at the door Did I mention to you it's free for He wants you to give from the heart As so many have tearfully come to see, why wouldn't anyone just start It is to Him that you must be true this being but a tattered old worn trail The Way Jesus always drew He will also put such wind back in your sail As the song ask "what are you waiting for" Jesus standing just outside There is no need to worry anymore but not for those who haven't tried
