Is Anyone There
Surely your boredom has brought you here, It is no longer a necessity, this blathered relationship we share Your words are void of feeling—yes they make me want to scream, Is anyone there? Truly, is anyone there? You say you love me, and sometimes I believe you really do But when I come to see you, your eyes are glazed You are long dead, and still I grieve what you once were… Now, you cry for me… I apologize for your coldness, for your anger… I have taken your pains and sorrows silently, I have given all that I can… What else do I need to do, To reach you… I am torn too, distant one How could I tell you while you are bleeding so profusely? The psychology behind my feelings blow my mind I sacrifice everything for you... It is sick...because I cannot see what I need... I feel myself sinking... As I hold you up to the surface...drowning Satisfied with your breaths...and observing my many deaths I know you love me, Though it gets harder and harder to believe I am tired of apologizing for you, covering your scars Together, we can heal them Just promise you will stop disappearing I have enough absent hearts in my life….
