An Angel In Disguise
Over the hills near a gentle stream Lies a place evergreen where the butterflies play With an atmosphere so beautiful and tranquil It makes reality feel like a dream. He spots her gently washing her linen with skill Sitting at her favourite spot day after day.   Her soft hands were so wrinkled And her knuckles were left swollen Yet her beauty and wisdom still over flowed The soft linen was crinkled As there were two small loads kept in brass laundry barrels with a touch of gold. Her love so pure with a radiant glow Shown in her face that hides her pain And she hides her scars and silent tears So that no one will ever know. An Angel in Disguise sits in fear Hoping one day to fly free again. Contest. - An Angel In Disguise Sponsor - Isaiah Zerbst
