A Father's Will
Don’t cry my child even if I leave you, don’t dwell in sorrow though I am not by your side anymore, but you must endure all kinds of hardship you may encounter, and at last, if the burden you are carrying is too heavy for you to hold, that’s the time let it down and cry, bitterly. When the wind rises the leaves fall and when you stray from the thoroughfare of the itinerary carried by the rolling leaves, wandering in the wastelands as a lonely shadow, every thought would occur to you as an irresistible yearning for dear memories, that’s the time for you to lament, loudly. When vainly sworn hours shatter and sunlight reflecting on the surface of water misshapes a lonely reed by the edge of the water comes against the current full of compassion and asks “what does it really means the word loneliness?” that’s the time to stretch your arms, hold a reed and sob, without a word. In the midst of the wilderness where roaring thunder tears your ears and flashing light blinds the eyes, you stand alone stunned, hit by the pouring rain that came with the dark cloud; in this darkness you search for the way out, in this darkness you struggle to find the lost self, but nothing would content your heart’s desire; and that’s the time for you to mourn in the never ending pouring rain.
