As I Step Back In Time
as I step back in time and again you come into my mind When I was your wife and we lived in Koppel PA it was a wonderful life as I step back in time you love playing your country music all the time some days I though I'd lose my mind as I step back in time it seem unreal you have been gone 10 years ago today I keep you in my memory ever so close you never seem to fade away I was married to you for 25 years what can I say as I step back in time I work in child care you as a Boss at the medical center it was a wonderful life we did share as I step back in time today I remember when we said our I do and all the things in our life we went through but I would not be where I am if I never had met you, As I step back in time Aug. 16 2004 my husband jerry passed away so I write this poem and to share but mostly to show jerry even though he gone I still care.
